Join Captain Maddlove at Origins 2024 for Exclusive Miniature Painting Workshops!

This year at Origins 2024, Captain Maddlove will host a series of miniature painting workshops. Regardless of your experience level, these sessions are designed from the bottom up to boost your skills and spark your imagination.

Workshop Schedule: 

• Make It Glow: An intermediate class guiding attendees through a technique to achieve the visual effect of something “Glowing”. Give a point of direction to your OSL (object source lighting) , pump volumes, create magical effects, make weapons glow … and the list goes on.

  • Date & Time: Friday, June 21, 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM 

    • Duration: 2.5 hours 

    • Location: 2nd Floor – Meeting Room A225 

• Bones & Wings & Creature Things: This is an intermediate class focusing on giving feathered, winged characters and creatures the ultimate LIFT. Aiming for BIG Presence, big volumes, and delicate tricks to create movement on the game table. Hands-on with a hopeful 30 minutes for Q&A at the end of class

• Fast & Furious but Fabulous Speed Painting Techniques Basic understanding of miniature painting is a plus but, this class is designed for ALL the paint hobbyists. Are you just learning to paint minis and don’t know where to start? Do you want to speed up the process? Do you want maximum effect with less effort? Are you afraid you will RUIN your mini?
